Mallika Sherawat started her carrier as air-hostess and married Jet Airways Pilot Karan Singh Gill. She had to divorce him to pursue her acting dreams. She got a nomination for Best Actress at the Zee Cine Awards ceremony for her top performance in the movie Murder. This film was biggest hit at box office.
